Jamie G. McWilliam
Jamie McWilliam is an attorney in the firm’s Houston office, where he represents clients at all stages of commercial disputes and public policy litigation. He has experience in corporate law, intellectual property law, tax law, and constitutional law.
Prior to joining Benbrook Law Group, Jamie was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and clerked for Judge Lawrence VanDyke of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He received his law degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelors of science degree in mechanical engineering from Montana State University.
Jamie is also a research fellow at the University of Wyoming Firearms Research Center. He regularly publishes academic articles and essays on topics such as originalism, natural law, and the Second Amendment. His articles have been cited by courts across the country, including the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fourth, Eighth, and Ninth Circuits.
